Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma reviews security arrangements ahead of festive season

Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], August 23 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Sunday chaired a review meeting on the state's law and order situation and assessed security arrangements ahead of the upcoming festive season.
During the meeting, CM Sharma directed officials to prepare an effective action plan for security and traffic management across the state.
He said that if any dispute or other incident affects the situation in an area, the concerned Inspector General of Police and Superintendent of Police should immediately reach the spot and take steps to bring the situation under control.
The Chief Minister highlighted that major festivals, including Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, Raksha Bandhan, Janmashtami and Ganesh Chaturthi, are scheduled in the coming days. He stressed the need for public participation and effective coordination with citizens so that information about any incident can be received promptly and necessary action taken.
Director General of Police Rajeev Kumar Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Bhaskar A Sawant and other senior officials attended the meeting.
Earlier on August 2, Rajasthan Chief Minister Sharma stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state's 'double-engine' government is realising the resolve of a 'Viksit Bharat' and 'Viksit Rajasthan-2047'.
CM stated that work is being carried out with a commitment to the welfare of "farmers, women, labourers, and the youth".
At a ceremony held at Bhikshu Nilayam in Rajsamand, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 347 development projects worth over Rs 491 crore; this included the inauguration of 266 projects costing more than Rs 369 crore and the laying of foundation stones for 81 projects costing over Rs 122 crore. He remarked that these development projects have added a new chapter to the saga of progress in this land, which is revered for faith in Shrinathji and the valour of Maharana Pratap, according to a release.
